Logosol DH410 – a reliable planer with a width of 410 mm (16 3/16”)

Two-sided planer/moulder which planes up to a width of 410 mm (16 3/16”) and a height of 260 mm (10 1/4”)

Planes two sides in one pass. Four-sided planing is made by running the board twice through the machine.

Logosol DH410 has a lot in common with our PH260. The machine is built on the same principles and most of its components are the same as PH260’s, which means that it is a very sturdy machine with a cast-iron machine table and separate motors for each cutter and the feeder. Both the machines also have the same type of knives and cutter heads.

The difference is that DH410 works with two cutters instead of four. Four-sided planing is made by running the board twice through the machine, while you only machine the board once when planing and dimensioning two sides up to a width of 310 mm (12 1/4") and a height of 100 mm (3 15/16").

Our customers

The DH410 is primarily bought by customers who want a machine that can produce the same result as a four-sided planer/moulder, but can accept that the production takes a little more time. One advantage of the DH410 when compared with the PH260 is that you get a planer with a width of 410 mm (16 3/16"). Some of our customers have rebuilt the DH410 to make it possible to plane tapered boards for flooring or panelling. The machine can also be used as a vertical mill with feeder. If you do not want to plane the top side of the board, you replace the steel rollers with rubber rollers.
