The Logosol Woodworker's Mill
The Custom Made Lumber Making Tool for Woodworkers!
Woodworkers have unique needs when it comes to milling lumber. This sawmill from Logosol gives you the capability to control your project from the raw log to the finished product.
The Woodworker's Mill is a woodworking tool capable of quartersawing, resawing, cutting curved lumber, bookmatching, cutting perfect bowl blanks and more. Plus it's fun to use!
This mill is perfect for short, fat logs, where lots of lumber can be found at a minimum price. The legs of the sawmill are closer together than the M8, making it easy to mill these shorter logs that are full of premium lumber.
This unique woodworking tool deals specifically with logs that are 1.2-2.4 m (4-8 ft) long - logs that fit easily into the back of a pick-up truck. We heard from many woodworkers they did not need a full-sized mill - but they did need a mill that would provide them the ability to produce their own unique lumber from their own logs. Logosol answered this call for a smaller mill, but one with full-sized features - The Woodworker's Mill!
With this woodworking tool you can realise your wood working plans and free your wood working projects!
Features of the Woodworker's Mill:
Easy Maintenance
The sawmill is rustproof - all parts are weather resistant. The sawmill is constructed out of anodized aluminum, stainless steel bolts, and nylon slides.
Ergonomic Design
This mill is designed with the operator in mind. Everything is at the right height for operation without back strain.
Strong Construction
Made of anodized extruded aluminum, this mill is extremely strong for its size, easily supporting and lifting over ten times its weight.
Lightweight
The Woodworker's Mill weighs only 38 kg (85 lbs). It is easily transported to the site by trailer or in the back of a truck, or easily moved to the tree for on-site milling.
Safe to Operate
The chain pulls the wood against the bed, firmly holding it in place while cutting.
Independent Log Bed Suspension
Provides the ability to produce tapered cuts and angle cuts.
Smooth Cuts
The surface of the lumber cut with the Woodworker's Mill is so smooth that it can be finished with a belt sander. And with the ease of log handling and positioning using the independent log bed suspension, you can maximize the cutting of the log to produce the best lumber.
Unique Low Profile Ripping Chain
Easy to sharpen ripping chain has a narrow 6 mm (1/4") kerf and the life span is approximately 7 cubic meters (3000 board feet) of lumber.
Cuts all Diameters of Logs
The low profile chain is available in 40 cm (16"), 50 cm (20") and 63 cm (25") cutting lengths, and even longer bars with larger chains can be added to handle those extra large logs. Logs too large to place on the sawmill can be cut by mounting the sawmill to the log.
Expandable to all log lengths
Extensions are available to easily add the necessary length to process longer logs.
